A 2015 Deloitte LLP report found that free shipping was the top priority for shoppers this holiday season, and many of your favorite retail stores have listened.
Some of these stores’ websites are offering free shipping on all orders, while others have a minimum dollar amount to qualify. Some are offering free shipping only until a certain date; others offer free shipping every day of the year.
Here’s a list of what stores offer free shipping for online orders this holiday season.
Target: No Minimum
Target has a free shipping policy in effect until Dec. 25, though it notes that an “oversized handling fee may apply.” There is no minimum order for free shipping at Target. See Target.com for details and exclusions.
Best Buy: No Minimum
Best Buy is offering free shipping on all online orders this holiday season until Jan. 2, with no minimum order required. See BestBuy.com for details and exclusions.
Nordstrom: No Minimum
Nordstrom offers free shipping every day of the year. There is no minimum order to qualify. See Nordstrom.com for details and exclusions.
Zappos: No Minimum
The online shoe and apparel shop Zappos also offers free shipping all year long, with no minimum order required. See Zappos.com for details and exclusions.
Toys R Us: $19 Minimum
You can get free shipping at Toys R Us any day of the year, not just during the holidays, but there is a $19 minimum order to qualify. See ToysRUs.com for details and exclusions.
Reebok: $49 Minimum
Shoe and athletic-equipment retailer Reebok offers free shipping on all orders of at least $49 year-round. See Reebok.com for details and exclusions.
Wal-Mart: $50 Minimum
You can get free shipping when shopping the Wal-Mart website, on orders of $50 or more, all year long. See Walmart.com for details and exclusions.
Macy’s: $99 Minimum
Macy’s will provide free shipping, but the order must be $99 or more to qualify. That rule doesn’t apply to beauty products, though, as Macy’s ships beauty products for free every day of the year. See Macys.com for details and exclusions.
Free Shipping Day: Dec. 18
Add Free Shipping Day to your favorite shopping holidays like Black Friday and Cyber Monday. All participating retailers will offer — you guessed it — free shipping on all orders. Nearly 800 merchants had signed up to participate at last count, with more being added every day. This year’s Free Shipping Day is scheduled for Dec. 18, and orders placed by then will be delivered by Christmas Eve.
